Explore Tenerife: Full Day Tour from Teide to the North Coast
From the highest point of Tenerife to the north coast of the island, ascending again to the summits, this Full Day Tour from Teide covers it all. El Teide, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, and Masca are four distinctive landmarks of Tenerife’s geography that you cannot miss on this complete excursión.
Ascending through Vilaflor, we will reach the Las Cañadas del Teide National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site), where we can take photos at various stops. We will continue through the Orotava Valley to the town of Icod, known for its wines and home to the famous Drago Milenario, an emblematic tree of the Canary Islands.
Our route continues along the north coast, passing through the town of Garachico, devastated by the volcanic eruption of 1706. We will end in Masca, an old pirate village with impressive views of La Gomera, which allowed control of maritime traffic between Tenerife and the Columbian island.
