Ascent from Puerto de la Cruz
The tour begins in Puerto de la Cruz, where we start a 7 km ascent to the Humboldt Observatory, offering spectacular views of La Orotava Valley, Puerto de la Cruz, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Old Town of La Orotava
As we continue the route, we pass through the old town of La Orotava, one of the best-preserved historical areas in Tenerife. With its cobblestone streets, you’ll admire traditional Canary architecture, particularly the stately homes with their characteristic wooden balconies. Highlights include the Church of La Concepción, a gem of Canary Baroque architecture, and the House of the Balconies, where you can appreciate local craftsmanship. This charming town is a designated Historic-Artistic Site, and strolling through its streets feels like stepping back in time, adding a unique cultural touch to the tour.

Climbs and Gradients
The tour includes a total ascent of 800 metres and covers a distance of 44 kilometres. Although it is beginner-friendly, some segments have gradients of up to 15%, adding a good challenge for cyclists wanting to experience a true climb.
Final Lookout Point
The route culminates at another lookout point after a 5 km climb, where you can admire another stunning view before descending back to Puerto de la Cruz.

It is important to reserve your bike for the tour day (not included in the price). The reservation will be made directly at our shop on the day of the activity, and our team will be available to advise you and help you select the bike that best suits your needs.

- Appropriate cycling clothing for varying weather conditions.

- All bikes are equipped with a bottle holder, and a 750cc water bottle is included.
Cancellation Policies
- Cancellation up to 8 days before the rental period begins: Full refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation between 8 and 4 days before the rental period begins: 50% refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation within 4 days of the rental period beginning: No refund will be given.
