There, you will find the finest dishes made with the best local raw materials and all the affection of its people.

The Guachinche Route: Itinerary

  • The journey starts at La Casa del Vino, featuring a tasting of three types of wine (red, white, and rosé), paired with Canarian cheeses.
  • The extraordinary history of our wines is unveiled, with a tasting of some of the island’s finest.
  • Visit to Guachinche “Casa Lito” in Santa Úrsula to enjoy starters such as roasted cheese with mojo sauce, escaldón de gofio, wrinkled potatoes with mojo sauce, huevos estampidos, and ropa vieja.
  • The tour proceeds to Guachinche “Don Trino”, where grilled meat dishes are served: churrasco, chops, goat meat, carne fiesta, or rabbit.
  • The final stop is at Bodegas Monje for a guided tour and coffee, savouring the magnificent views of Tenerife’s north coast.
  • The route takes approximately 6 hours, running Monday to Sunday, with one or two guides depending on the group size.

The Guachinche Route: Important Information

  • Minimum number of people per booking: 2 people
  • Activity with minimum quota: There is a possibility of cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such case, an alternative date will be offered to the client or the option to cancel and receive a full refund.
  • Departure: Will be early enough to arrive at the first site by 12:00 pm.
  • The Guachinche: May change if the chosen one is closed on the days of the route or for holidays, but we have several that meet the same quality, location, and permission characteristics.
  • Tour ends: Approximately at 16:00, excluding the return travel time to the client’s accommodation.
  • For children: Although not a route specifically designed for children, children’s menus are available at all Guachinches. A 50% charge applies to children aged 3 to 11. Children under 2 are free.
  • What to bring: Comfortable clothing and footwear, coat.
  • Available seats for pick-up and drop-off: We adapt to the number of seats based on the number of people booked.
  • Different pick-up and drop-off points: Hotel/accommodation. A specific point chosen by the client can be agreed upon within the established route.
  • Availability: Every day of the year.
  • Booking cut-off time: 24 hours.
  • Maximum number of participants: Depending on the number of participants, appropriate vehicles will be used.
  • Pick-up service: Departures from hotels in the north or south of the island and from cruises at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Pick-up time will be agreed with the client. Duration: 6 hours. Available languages: Spanish, English, Italian. For other languages, please inquire.
  • When to book?: Book as early as possible to ensure availability, especially during holidays and bridges. Booking is possible up to 2 days before (Tenerife time) if places are available.
  • Confirmation: An email with a voucher will be sent, which can be printed or carried on the mobile to the activity.

  • To receive a full refund for the activity, it must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of its start.
  • If cancelled within 24 hours before the start, no refund will be made.
  • Changes made less than 24 hours before the activity starts will not be accepted.
  • The cut-off time is determined according to the local time of the location where the activity will take place.
  • Favorable weather conditions are essential for this activity. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
