What people most want in La Palma since 2021 is the volcano: the guided Tajogaite hike is 4 hours with a guide over the lava flows and cones of the eruption, explaining what happened and how the Aridane valley is recovering. The Cueva de Las Palomas is the other face of volcanism: a lava tube visited with helmet and torch in 2 hours, with a guide.
