There are four ways to visit Teide National Park and the 11 activities here cover them all. The most common is a guided group trip with hotel pickup: the half-day tour lasts 5 hours, the excursion with cable car from south Tenerife also 5 hours with the cable car ride built into the plan, and the full-day tour with Teide, Icod, Garachico and Masca fills 8 hours if you want the villages too.
The second way is to go up properly: the summit ascent with cable car ticket is a 6-hour guided outing in English, Spanish and German. The third is Teide after dark: stargazing with dinner and hotel pick-up (7 hours), dinner under the stars and stargazing (6.5 hours) or the 3-hour sunset and stars self-drive tour if you have a hire car.
The fourth is going at your own pace: a 3.5-hour buggy adventure, two electric mountain bike routes (Chinyero volcano and Corral del Niño from Izaña, 5 hours each) and a 4-hour road cycling route in Vilaflor starting in Arona. We currently have no private tours with a driver-guide to Teide: the five we used to list came from a supplier who has stopped working with us.

By day you see the caldera, the rock formations and, on the cable car options, the views from the top; there are three coach tours and five private ones. At night there are three options: stargazing with dinner and pick-up (7 hours), dinner under the stars (6.5 hours) and the 3-hour self-drive sunset tour.
A warm layer, sun cream, sunglasses and water whatever the season, because it is colder at altitude than on the coast and the sun is strong. Closed shoes always, and a windproof jacket for the night tours. For the summit ascent, the buggy and the e-MTB routes, sports clothing.
