Tenerife North excursions: what you can book

The Tenerife north excursions we sell come to thirteen and cover the green half of the island: two coach tours across the north, four cycling and electric MTB routes, the wine route, three tickets to parks and gardens, a free day in Puerto de la Cruz and the day trip to La Gomera. Most include hotel pickup, so you can do them while staying in the south. The private driver-guide tours we used to run in this area are no longer available.

What there is to do in northern Tenerife

The north is the wet side: laurel forest, banana terraces, towns with pine-balconied houses and a rocky coast with natural pools. It holds the landscape and culture sights, which is why most departures are full days with several stops. From the south it is 45 minutes to an hour and a half by road, which is why almost everything we offer here comes with transport.

How to choose

First time and want to see a lot: the full tour or the round-the-island tour, both 8 hours with a guide in several languages. Here for the food and wine: the wine route, with a tasting at the Casa del Vino and lunch at a winery. Travelling with children: Loro Parque or Forestal Park. Want to move: the four cycling routes, from 3.5 hours around La Orotava to 6 hours out to Punta de Teno.

What we do not have right now

  • Private driver-guide tours across the north: they came from a supplier who has stopped working with us.
  • Guachinche routes through the La Orotava valley, from the same supplier.
  • Guided visits to Anaga or the old town of La Laguna, both of which you walk independently.
